About Us

President's Note:


POSSE stands for Parent Organization Supporting Student Education. You can help support our Stockdale students and programs by joining POSSE! There are several membership levels and there are no in-person obligations required! Our membership drive and 5K are our major fundraisers for the year. The Stockdale Stampede 5K Fun Run date is February 22nd, 2025. We encourage you to join POSSE and become aware of the different ways you can be informed, involved and supportive.
We are looking forward to a great year being back in person!  

The monies raised through POSSE are used to:
1. Help the administration fund items and activities not in their budget, such as updating the library to a tech center, purchased more tables and garbage cans for our new combined lunch period, and helped update the appearance of the campus.
2. Support county, state, and national events for the Stockdale academic, fine arts, and athletic teams.
3. Provide scholarships to 10 graduating seniors.
​4. Provide a “Welcome Back” breakfast for our outstanding Stockdale staff.

Ways to support:
  • Join POSSE! Meeting attendance not required, Monthly minutes to be emailed.
  • Stockdale Stampede: Donate/sponsor/register for the family friendly run/walk.
  • Restaurant Nights: Many clubs/teams have them! I call this a win-win opportunity...no cooking AND supporting a cause!

  • Shop at Office Depot? Ask the cashier to reference Stockdale High School for the school to receive credit for future purchases.
